Sanderlings are small, plump sandpipers with a stout bill about the same length as the head. They are often called “peeps”.
Hello and welcome to my site. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed photographing the subjects in them. While many of my images are of waterfowl, you will also find other coastal subjects such as lighthouses, wild ponies, boats, sunrises and sunsets, and a variety of other subjects as I add to this site. I am a native of coastal North Carolina.
