The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Three Red Breasted Mergansers take flight from Taylors Creek, near Beaufort, NC. These ducks are slim, crested, fish-eating ducks, with a long thin red bill with serrated edges. They are commonly found around jetties and piers along the coast and forage by diving and swimming underwater.
