A shrimp boat passes through Beaufort Inlet as it heads for the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Commercial fishing has historically been a large and important part of the coastal economy. Today, it still provides a livelihood for some coastal residents.
About Dan Williams
Hello and welcome to my site. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed photographing the subjects in them. While many of my images are of waterfowl, you will also find other coastal subjects such as lighthouses, wild ponies, boats, sunrises and sunsets, and a variety of other subjects as I add to this site. I am a native of coastal North Carolina.
