Beaufort, N.C. was established in 1709. It is a quaint coastal town located on Beaufort Inlet, a channel leading to the Atlantic Ocean. Beaufort is the third oldest town in the state and seat of Carteret County. Taylors Creek provides a waterway between Carrot Island and Beaufort and provides safe anchorage for sailboats.
Hello and welcome to my site. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed photographing the subjects in them. While many of my images are of waterfowl, you will also find other coastal subjects such as lighthouses, wild ponies, boats, sunrises and sunsets, and a variety of other subjects as I add to this site. I am a native of coastal North Carolina. Living on the Crystal Coast of our State affords many opportunities to photograph interesting and beautiful wildlife, as well as a variety of other unique subjects and features of this area.
